ヴィンチェンゾ・ナタリの2003年の映画「NOTHING ナッシング」を観た。まあ可も不可もなし。
同監督の「CUBE」や「カンパニー・マン」とかに比べると拍子抜けするくらいに脳天気な作品ではある。「何もないところ」を舞台にした物語なんだけど、話のネタになるようなものが本当に何もないので、90分の作品なのに冗長的に感じられるかも。コンセプトはむしろ短編アニメーションに向いていると思うんだけど、それを実写の長尺で見せられてもねえ。悪い作品ではないですが。
ちなみに撮影場所はトロント。舞台となる家が建っている場所の比較的近所に俺は住んでいた。
