あるいは単に「Daredevil」な。マーヴェルがネットフリックスと組んで世に出すTVシリーズの第１弾。とりあえず１話と２話を観たので感想をざっと箇条書きにする：
・全体的な設定は原作コミックと同じ、というかかなり忠実なほう。
・主人公の赤コスチュームもいずれ登場するようだけど、当初は黒ずくめの服装と覆面という姿で悪と戦っていて、そのデザインおよびストーリーはフランク・ミラー＆ジョン・ロミタJr.のオリジン話「The Man Without Fear」をざっくりベースにしている。
・「The Man Without Fear」ってフランク・ミラーの作風がかなり暴力的になり始めたころの作品で、デアデビルがサクサクと人を殺して行く展開はおれあまり好きではないのだけど、こちらのデアデビルもかなり暴力的で、人殺しこそしないもののゴロツキを拷問して情報を得たりしてて、かなり血なまぐさい内容になっている。
・とはいえデアデビルは格闘が意外と弱くて、ゴロツキ一人倒すのにも苦労してるし、第２話ではギャングのワナにはまってボコボコにされてやんの。もうちょっと自分の能力を利用したほうが良いかと。
・能力（視力以外の四感が超人的に優れている）の描写は劇場版に比べるとかなり控え目で、四感を駆使したレーダーセンスの描写などはなし、ただし人の心臓の鼓動を聴いて、その人がウソを行ってるか判断するというコミック通りの展開があります。
・いちおう劇場版やテレビ版のマーヴェル作品と同じ世界を共有しているという設定のようで、「アベンジャーズ」に関連してるようなセリフがちらほら。アベンジャーズが街中で盛大に戦って建物を破壊したおかげで、ニューヨークのゼネコン業界はウハウハだそうな！
・クリエーターは「キャビン」のドリュー・ゴダード。主演のチャーリー・コックスはちょっと老けてる気がするが（髪の生え際…）、赤髪でないことを除けばそんな悪くはない。あとはロザリオ・ドーソンがナイトナースみたいな役で出演してたり。みんなシリアスな演技をしているなか、フォギー・ネルソン役のエルデン・ヘンソンだけが原作通りに愚直なキャラクターを演じていて目立っている感じ。主人公の師匠であるスティックとか宿敵のキングピンなどはまだ登場してません。
・ネットフリックスのシリーズの常として、シーズン全話を一気に視聴してもらうことを念頭においているためか、ストーリーの流れにエンジンがかかるのが遅いような。主人公の生い立ちはフラッシュバックで少しずつ語られ、その能力については明確に説明されたりしてません。ここらへん日本に来た時は視聴者にどう受け止められるだろう？
・いずれシーズン全話を観るつもりなので最終的な判断は置いておくが、劇場版よりはたぶんマシな内容になるであろうものの、地上波のTVシリーズなどと比べて突出して素晴らしい、というわけでもないかな。あとは原作のストーリーをどう料理してくれるかに期待。主人公の母親らしき存在も示唆されてるので、名作「ボーン・アゲイン」とかも映像化してくれるかな？
