「HOLLYWOOD STOCK EXCHANGE」参戦

これからアメリカで公開される映画を株式会社に見立てて、その株を売買する、なんちゃってトレーダーゲームサイト「HOLLYWOOD STOCK EXCHANGE」に１週間ほど前から参加している。それぞれの映画の株価は「公開から４週間での興行成績」となっており、当然ながらヒットしそうな映画は株価が高いし、そうでない映画は株価が安い。そして株を売ったり買ったりしながら、自分の資産を増やしていくのが大きな目的なのだ。売買については実際の証券取引同様に細かいオプションがあるらしいんだけど、勉強するのが面倒なので今のところ単純にバルク買いと売りを重ねていっている。

最初は何も知らずに買った「ゴーストライダー」の株が10％ほどいきなり上昇したんで「こんなのラクチンじゃん」と思ってたんだけど、「300」とか「EVAN ALMIGHTY」なんかが伸び悩み、一時期は赤字の状態に。でもコメディ映画なら当たるだろうと思って大量に買っておいた「RENO911」の株価がここ最近上がってきて黒字に転向。こういうのは自分の映画の好みなんて置いておいて、とにかくヒットしそうな作品の株を買うのがコツですね。好みにまかせて「RESCUE DAWN」なんて買ったらすぐ赤字になってやんの。でもダニー・ボイルの「SUNSHINE」の株はちょっと上がっていてナイス。

あと映画だけでなく俳優や監督の人気度にあわせた株も売っており、こいつはポール・ラッドの株を少々購入。さらにはバクチ色の強い、アカデミー賞予想の株なんてのも売っており、こいつはマーティン・スコセッシ（同情票を集めるだろう）の株を買ったらそこそこいい上がり方を見せてくれている。
