勉強しようと思っていざ机に向かっても、集中できずについ席を立ってテレビとかを観てしまう子供たち（あとまあ自分自身）への対処として、Study Ballなる9.5キロの鉄球がついたタイマー付き足枷が発売されたそうな。いいのかこれ。急にトイレとかに行きたくなったらどうするんだ。

販売サイトではロックの緊急解除が可能であることと、セキュリティ的に４時間以上のタイマー設定はできないと書かれているけど、この場合のセキュリティというのは一体何を指してるんだろう。

しかし俺も学生時代に一日何時間も勉強をやらされた記憶があるけど、そうした勉強が社会人になってから役立ったことって殆どないよな、と実感せずにはいられないのです。
