こういう作品って主人公の２人の掛け合いにすべてがかかってると思うのだけど、その点ではどうも全体的にもったりとしてる感じがするのは俺だけでしょうか。神経質な白人と気さくな黒人のコンビ、そして両者の振る舞いに頭を抱える小太りの上司、というのも非常に典型的で目新しさが無いような。第１話では俺の好きなジョン・シェアが出てるのにすぐにいなくなってしまうのも何か残念。
まあ典型的なUSAネットワークの作品といった感じで、それなりに長続きはするかもしれないけど、あの局のバディものだったら「サイク」のほうがずっと面白いよね。
