アザリアといえばエメリッヒ版「ゴジラ」とか「HUFF〜ドクターは中年症候群」とかで日本でも知られた役者だが、やはり一番有名なのは「シンプソンズ」でアプーとかモーといった多数のキャラクターを演じ分けている声優としてなのですね。声帯模写でも非凡な才能を発揮している彼が、クセのある声を持った実況アナウンサー（声も格好も実在の有名アナウンサーを真似たらしい）を演じるというのは実に適役なのではないかと。
共演はマイナーリーグ球団のオーナーにアマンダ・ピート。一回ヘマをして挫折した男が田舎町で再起しようとするという展開は決して目新しいものではないし、今後の展開がどうなるのかいまいちわからない点はあるのだけど、早くもシーズン２の製作が決まったということなので、今後面白くなってくることに期待しましょう。
