いや笑った笑った。凸凹コンビのバディ映画ではないか！
・よく目にする評判としては「最近のマーベル映画に比べて、20年くらい前のテイスト」というものだが、奇しくも20年くらい前（映画の元になった「Venom: Lethal Protector」が出版されたのが93年）ってコミックでもヴェノムの人気が出すぎて、単なるヴィランからアンチヒーローに転換させようとマーベルが苦心していた時期なので、この映画のモンスターをヒーローに仕立て上げようとするノリと重なるものがあり、やけに懐かしい感じがしてしまったよ。
・最初の1時間は展開がタルくて、主人公がヴェノムになることなんてみんな知ってるわけだから、主人公が自分の体の変化に戸惑うあたりはまどろっこしく感じられたが、いざヴェノムが登場すると主人公とのどつき漫才！変に気遣いのきくシンビオートとのかけあいは面白く見させていただきました。「俺は落ちこぼれだった！」とか突然言い出すのですもの。
・異なる性格（？）のふたりが手を組むという典型的なバディものの話だったので、何かに似てるなあ…とずっと思いながら見ていた。ハル・クレメントの「20億の針」よりも、藤子・F・不二雄のSF短編っぽい感じ？
・主役を演じるトム・ハーディはヴェノムの声も担当してるので結果的に一人ボケ＆ツッコミを演じていて大奮闘。コミックのエディ・ブロックに体型的にはまあ似てるけど、TVレポーターを演じるには滑舌が悪すぎるような？ヒロインのミシェル・ウィリアムズはこないだ「アイ・フィール・プリティ! 」を観たばかりなので、なんかコメディエンヌになってきたなあ、という印象を受けました。
・アンゼたかし、「Karma is a bitch」を「因果応報」と訳すのは適切だと思うけど、なぜ「カルマイズアビッチ」とかルビを振るんだろう？キーワードかジョークなのかと思ったらそうでもなかったし。
・最近のマーベル映画に比べると確かに見劣りするものの、金曜ロードショーとかでサクッと観るぶんには楽しめる作品なのではないですか。アメリカでも批評家の評判は散々だったものの興行的には大成功してしまったわけで、これにより他のスパイダーマンのスピンオフ映画製作に拍車がかかることになるんだろうか。でもこういう映画のノリって、狙って作れるものではないような気がするのです。
