ずっと前にも書いた、著作権フリーの映像を切り貼りして１つの短編映像を作るという映像コンテスト「STOCKSTOCK FILM FESTIVAL」がまた開催されるらしい。
俺が参加した２年前のときは参加費15ドルを払うことでミニDVテープが送られてきて、そこから映像をキャプチャして編集し、またテープに入れて送り返すという仕組みだったけど、去年はそれがCDロムでの納品がOKになり、今年は素材をホームページからダウンロードして、つくった映像をYoutubeかどこかにアップロードするという方法になったらしい。こうして振り返ってみると、ここ２年の間にネット上での映像のやりとりというのが急速に普及したのがよく分かるね。自分とこのサーバーにアップするんじゃなくて、他人様のサービスを使って映像公開するところが、実に小規模というか何というか。今回は参加費が無料（寄付を求められるけど）ということなので、また参加してみてもいいかもしれない。でもH.264のデータって編集しやすいもんなのか？
あと過去の作品の再掲載を募ってるらしいので、むかし入賞した作品をアップしてみようかな。今となっては非常に稚拙な出来の作品なのですが。
