ハリウッドでは相変わらずアメコミの映画化が盛んなようだが、ワーナーの「ワンダー・ウーマン」の脚本＆監督が「聖少女バフィー」のジョス・ウィードンに決定したらしい。短命に終わったシリーズ「FIREFLY」の映画版「SERENITY」を現在作ってるはずだから、そのあとに取りかかるのだろう。スーパーヒーローの映画はまだしも、スーパーヒロインの映画ってどれだけ需要があるのか不明だけど、アメコミのライターでもあるウィードンなら結構いいものが作れるかもしれない。
んで「Xメン３」の監督が、ガイ・リッチーの一連の映画のプロデューサーであり、監督デビュー作「LAYER CAKE」がそろそろ公開されるマシュー・ヴォーンに決定したらしい。監督としての技量は未知数だが、個人的にはストーリーが「ダーク・フェニックス・サーガ」を下敷きにするのかが気になる。俺あの話は嫌いなんだが…。
「Xメン」の１と２を監督したブライアン・シンガーは現在「スーパーマン」を撮影中。ケヴィン・スペイシーがレックス・ルーサーでヒュー・ローリーがペリー・ホワイトをそれぞれ演じるというのが渋い。
そして「シン・シティ」の新トレーラーが公開されてた。あれって映画化は無理な作品だと思うのだけど、どんな出来になるのだろう。
