「それ」は目に見えないものの物理的には触れることのできる存在であり、その対処方法や逃げ方にはいろいろツッコミも入れたくなるものの、いいんだよ細けぇことは！またストーリーの時代設定も意図的に曖昧なものにしてあるので、あまりとやかく言わないように。

低予算ゆえ有名な俳優などは出演していないが、主演のマイカ・モンローは「インデペンデンス・デイ」の続編に出演するそうでスターの仲間入りするんじゃないかと。あと彼女に横恋慕するオクテの少年を演じるキーア・ギルクリストが良かったな。この作品のヒットを受けて早くも続編製作の話がでているそうだけど、「それ」の秘密が変に明かされたりするのは野暮なんじゃないかとも思う。
