舞台となるのは近未来のアメリカ。時期は明言されないが建国300周年を祝ってるようなので2070年代かな。かつて人々は自分たちの個人的なデータをすべてクラウドサーバーに入れて保管していたが、何らかの理由によってそのデータすべてが万人が閲覧できるものになってしまい、個人情報などがすべて暴かれてしまう。そして人々は新たなプライバシー保護の手段として、仮面をかぶったり変装をしたりするのであった。主人公のパトリック（仮名）はそんな社会において人々の素顔を撮影する私立探偵兼パパラッチであったが、ある謎の女性から彼女自身の素性を探って欲しいとの依頼を受ける。この風変わりな依頼を半ば強制的に受け取らされるパトリックだたが、その女性は後に謎の男によって殺害されてしまう…というのが１話のプロット。
グランブレタン帝国の貴族よろしく皆が仮面をかぶっている社会の姿はなかなか未来的。他の電子コミックにあるような、キャラクターが動いたりコマの１部分だけが変化するなどといった仕掛けはなく、あくまでも従来のコミックの形式をとっている。ただしPCでの閲覧を考慮したのかページのレイアウトが横長になっており、ワイドスクリーンの映画を観ているような感じになる。今後のコミックはこの形式が主流になっていくんだろうか。あとMTVとかLAタイムズなどの企業ロゴが背景にいろいろ描かれているんだけど、あれってプロダクト・プレースメント？それとも「ブレードランナー」の強力わかもとみたいなエキゾチックさを狙ってるんだろうか。
